Head Teacher's Welcome
At St Thomas Centre Nursery School our ethos is one of 'Happy, Healthy Children Playing and Learning Together' in a safe secure environment where they all experience success.
Children and families are at the heart of all we do and through critical reflective practice we aspire to the best possible outcomes for the children. Through our child centred approach, which builds on every child's individual strengths and the opportunities that they themselves initiate, we aspire to foster a lifelong love of learning. We seek to have a significant impact locally but also to model and support good practice more widely. As an inclusive setting we celebrate diverse communities, cultural heritages and British Values, underpinned by a promotion of positive relationships and mutual respect.
We would like to offer a warm welcome to a very active and thriving local authority setting close to Birmingham City Centre.
Children are at the centre of all we do here and it is our goal to provide the most appropriate opportunities for each of them. This means that creativity flows freely and we welcome many different styles of teaching and learning to provide a broad and balanced curriculum. We believe in partnerships and work closely with parents and the local community to achieve what is best for all of our families.
If at any time you want to make an appointment to discuss an issue or just chat about your child please don't hesitate in doing so.
Our website will introduce you to the staff team and our many varied ways of working.
Thank you for visiting us.
